Pasca menyandang status sebagai istri Irwan Mussry, Maia Estianty mulai berbagi cerita.
Diceritakan, momen pernikahannya diwarnai tangis dari orangtuanya. Bahkan, prosesi ijab kabul sempat harus diulang.
Sebab, sang ayah tak kuasa menahan tangis sebelum selesai membacakan bacaan ijab.
“Pada saat ijab kabul, tangisan ayahku sebelum selesai membaca bacaan ijab, pecah seada-adanya sampai kira2 10 menit, sehingga prosesi ijab kabul harus diulang oleh ayah yang akhirnya tenang,” ujarnya.
Maia mengatakan, dirinya berpikir ayahnya adalah sosok yang kuat. Pasalnya, ia tidak pernah melihat sang ayah menangis.
“Aku pikir ayahku adalah lelaki terkuat yang pernah ada, karena aku tidak pernah melihat beliau menangis, ternyata mengantar melepas anak perempuannya, beliau tidak sanggup menahan tangis haru nya, diikuti kemudian tangisan ibuku dan ketiga anakku serta saudara2 yang datang,” paparnya.
Maia pun mengucapkan terima kasih dan sayangnya kepada kedua orangtuanya.
“Tak lupa kuucapkan terimakasih kepada kedua orang tuaku @harjonosigit dan @kusthini_hs yang sudah bertahun2 mendoakan aku hingga akhirnya aku bisa melangkah menuju chapter yang baru dengan selamat,” ucapnya.
“I LOVE YOU Bapak dan Ibu. You are the best parents in the world,” sambungnya.
